This poster was created to promote a local health fair event at my university. The arrangement of text, size and typography elements were paramount throughout the design process revealing the concept of an eye chart.
Fruit Stop Menu
The Fruit Stop offers a variety of fresh fruits, juices, smoothies and snacks. Background illustrations were hand created using watercolor to convey the sense of freshly squeezed fruit.
Cross Country T-Shirt
Cross Country can include a variety of weather conditions. Rain certainly being one of them. When you mix in hundreds of runners stampeding throughout a cross country course it can get a bit messy! I wanted to illustrate the true grit and toughness of cross country running by incorporating mud splatters into the t-shirt's design.
Marcia Leiter Stationary
Physical Therapy involves rehabilitation and prevention of injury through the use of motion. Using motion as the main concept the dynamic flow, repetition and subtle color changes creates a sense of movement throughout the overall design. The back of the business card includes a sliding logo allowing the user to interact with the card leaving a meaningful impact.
Spring Dance Poster
When creating this poster I wanted to emphasize the color and movement of the dancers' dresses. I added various effects to the original image reducing the detail in the background image and enhancing the colors. I adjusted the typography to flow in a similar manner providing unity of movemnet in the overall design.
Hoja de Uva
Hoja de Uva, meaning grape leaf, is a fictitious winery specializing in slowly aged wine from South America. Using scans of old paper I was able to create a background texture with a vintage look. Dark purple grape vines twist and twirl around the packaging resembling overgrowth and wine that has been untouched for several years.
Fall Registration Guides
This project involved creating registration guides for my local university. I photographed the Old Main building to represent the Fall atmosphere on the college campus. Due to color limitations I used a single brown, red and orange color tone to differentiate between the various registration booklets.
