This poster was created to promote a local health fair event at my university. The idea was to imitate the look of traditional eye charts replacing the original symbols with important event information. Bold letter forms capture the viewers' attention while the smaller text requires a closer examination.
Fruit Stop Menu
The Fruit Stop offers a variety of fresh fruits, juices, smoothies and snacks. Background illustrations were hand created using watercolor to convey the sense of freshly squeezed fruit.
Cross Country T-Shirt
Cross Country can include a variety of weather conditions. Rain certainly being one of them. When you mix in hundreds of runners stampeding throughout a cross country course it can get a bit messy! I wanted to illustrate the true grit and toughness of cross country running by incorporating mud splatters into the t-shirt's design.
Dedham Savings Brochures
Dedham Savings is a local community bank that prides itself in providing diverse financial services to their customers. I created various brochures promoting financial planing from college savings to retirement.
Logo concept created for the Dogs Heal campaign addressing the health benefits of canine companionship. After numerous sketches and brainstorming sessions my creative director and I landed a simple mark that embodies people, dogs and companionship.
Physical Therapy Stationary
Physical Therapy involves rehabilitation and prevention of injury through the use of motion. Using motion as the main concept the dynamic flow, repetition and subtle color change creates a sense of calmness and movement throughout the design.
I had the privilege of working with Shauna MacKay, an experienced yoga instructor, to develop a flyer that would attract males who may not have considered yoga as an option for treating back pain. The target group was focused on serving professionals such as first responders, police, military and coast guard personnel.
Spring Dance Poster
When creating this poster I wanted to emphasize the color and movement of the dancers' dresses. I added various effects to the original image reducing the detail in the background image and enhancing the colors. I adjusted the typography to flow in a similar manner providing unity of movemnet in the overall design.
Hoja de Uva
Hoja de Uva, meaning grape leaf, is a fictitious winery specializing in slowly aged wine from South America. Using scans of old paper I was able to create a background texture with a vintage look. Dark purple grape vines twist and twirl around the packaging resembling overgrowth and wine that has been untouched for several years.
